In 2002, author Dan Schuch was asked to speak at the funeral of a dear friend, a missionary who had died suddenly, leaving behind a wife and two young kids. On the night before the funeral, Schuch had a vision from God, which led to writing this book. Mommy, what is a Missionary? honors Schuch’s missionary friend, while imparting to children an understanding and appreciation for the role missionaries play in building God’s kingdom.
